How Inciva handles Meta-connected deletion requests, user-owned data removal, and request status tracking.
Overview
Inciva is committed to providing users with a clear and reliable data deletion process.
If you connected your account to Inciva through Meta and would like your Inciva-related data deleted, you may submit a deletion request through Meta's applicable data deletion flow or contact us directly at support@inciva.app.
How the Process Works
When Inciva receives a valid deletion request associated with an eligible connected account, we process the request through our deletion workflow.
This workflow is designed to remove the relevant user-owned data associated with that request from our service records.
Depending on the features used, this may include deletion of:
- linked provider connection records
- account-related stored records
- analytics and snapshot records
- imported records
- workflow and related user-owned records associated with the connected account
Confirmation and Status
Where the request is received through Meta's deletion flow, Inciva may generate a confirmation code and a related status URL for request tracking.
Status URL format:
https://inciva.app/meta/data-deletion/status?code=YOUR_CONFIRMATION_CODE
If you submit your request through Meta, Meta may direct you to a status page generated for that request.
Important Notes
- Inciva does not collect or store your Instagram or Meta password.
- Account connection is handled through Meta's authorization systems.
- Data deletion requests are processed for the relevant connected account data associated with the request.
- In limited cases, minimal records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, or to document request handling.
