How Inciva approaches responsible data handling, secure account connection, and minimizing unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Overview

Inciva is designed with a strong emphasis on responsible data handling, secure account connection, and minimizing unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.

Our Security Principles

The following principles describe how Inciva approaches service security and sensitive account-related data handling.

1. We do not collect your Meta or Instagram password

Inciva does not ask for, collect, or store your Meta or Instagram password. Account authorization is handled through Meta's authorized connection flow.

2. We process only what is needed to provide the service

Inciva is built to process data necessary for authorized product functionality, including analytics, operational workflows, and related service features chosen by the user.

3. Sensitive access is handled with care

Where tokens or related authorization artifacts are required for service functionality, Inciva applies safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of that information.

4. Service security matters

Inciva uses security-oriented operational practices intended to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, and unnecessary data exposure.

These may include:

  • controlled session handling
  • restricted operational access
  • monitoring and issue detection
  • cautious handling of sensitive service data

5. Responsible deletion matters

When a valid deletion request is received and verified through the applicable process, Inciva processes that request through its deletion workflow for the relevant connected account data.

6. No absolute guarantees

While Inciva is designed with security in mind, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their own devices, email accounts, and connected platform credentials.
